We snuck in one more beach trip before summer officially wrapped.
I almost didn't plan it. Late August, everyone tired, the calendar already filling up with school and schedules. But something in me wanted one more week of nothing — no drop-offs, no practices, just sand and salt air and the five of us. Anddd I'm so glad we went.

Navy is 7 now. Indie is 5. Knight is 3. And seeing them beginning to reallyyyy play with eachother... soothes my mama heart! Building sandcastles. Chasing waves. So much sweetness.

I packed pieces to ease me out of summer and into fall, rather than shutting the door on the season all at once.
This striped bikini top and bottoms were in heavy rotation for beach days — easy, flattering, nothing fussy. I brought the matching striped pants too, which turned out to be exactly right for cooler beach evenings. That's the kind of piece I'm always looking for on a trip like this — something that bridges the two seasons instead of picking one.
My dark brown striped dress has quietly become one of those pieces I reach for constantly at home, so it made sense to bring it here too — dressed up for dinner, dressed down for a beach club lunch, works either way. That type of versatility in a piece is my favorite...

Also CANNOT forget my Nemah SPF. We made the cutest bottle for kids and then also a chic one for moms and adults. It was super important to me to keep the same clean mineral formula but make one just a little more fun for the littles. You can buy these as a bundle.

I threw those and other beach essentials in my canvas shoulder bag which went everywhere with me. Sand, salt air, mom/kid essentials, all of it. It's one of those bags that goes with everything, which on a trip like this is really all I need it to do.

Summer, you were good to us. This last trip was exactly the send-off we needed.
